Summary The U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control announced the designation of Iran’s Central Bank Governor and a senior official, Iraq based Al Bilad Islamic Bank and its chairman, and a Hezbollah official as Specially Designated Global Terrorists under Executive Order 13224 for actions involving financial support to the IRGC Qods Force and Hezbollah. The announcement states that the designations were made today, following the previous Thursday’s disruption of an associated currency exchange network.
