Summary The U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control designated four Hezbollah affiliated individuals as Specially Designated Global Terrorists under Executive Order 13224 for activities in Iraq, including operational, intelligence, and financial support for Hezbollah and coordination with the IRGC Qods Force. The action followed the October 25, 2018 signing of the Hezbollah International Financing Prevention Amendments Act of 2018 and occurred after the November 5, 2018 reimposition of U.S. nuclear related sanctions on Iran.
