Summary The U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control announced designations of nine individuals and entities linked to an Iran and Russia network supplying oil to the Syrian government and transferring funds to the IRGC Qods Force, Hezbollah, and HAMAS. The designations were issued on the date of the announcement, with OFAC also issuing an advisory to the maritime community on sanctions risks related to shipping oil to Syria.
